Hi! I’m a passionate art educator with over 12 years of experience teaching at Prairie Ridge Elementary. I earned my degree in Art Education from the University of Kansas and later completed my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. Over the years, I’ve been honored with the Kansas Horizon Award and named PRE Teacher of the Year in both 2015 and 2019, with a nomination for Kansas Teacher of the Year in 2022.

My heart is in helping kids explore their creativity and gain confidence through art. I believe every child is an artist, and my goal is to create a space where they feel encouraged, inspired, and free to express themselves.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me cycling, practicing yoga, cooking up something new in the kitchen,  doing art of my own and enjoying the outdoors.
