Sessions are divided by age level (K-2 and 3-5) to keep projects developmentally appropriate. 

✏️ Sketchbook Warm-Up – Each day starts with fun drawing prompts and creative exercises to get those artistic ideas flowing!

🌿 Outdoor Play & Inspiration – Fresh air fuels creativity! Campers will enjoy movement breaks, games, and nature-inspired art activities.

🎨 Exciting Art Projects – From painting and sculpture to collage and mixed media, kids will explore different art styles and materials to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces to take home.

🍎 Snack & Art Time – Midway through camp, we’ll refuel with snacks while watching engaging art videos about famous artists, cool techniques, and inspiring creativity from around the world!

🤝 Creative Connections – Campers will collaborate, share ideas, and encourage each other in a fun, supportive environment.

🎟️ Artist Trading Card Exchange – Each camper will create mini works of art to trade with friends at the end of camp—building a special collection of unique pieces!

Perfect for kids who love to draw, paint, build, and explore, this camp is all about having fun, making art, and letting creativity shine!

Be sure to bring a water bottle and snack each day to camp! 

Join Mrs. Swoger for a hands-on clay camp designed to spark creativity and expose students to more of the ceramic process! This two-Saturday workshop takes place in the Prairie Ridge Elementary art room and is perfect for young artists who love to build, sculpt, and create with their hands.

On the first Saturday, students will sculpt their clay project from start to finish, learning basic hand-building techniques and creative problem-solving along the way. After firing in the kiln, students will return on the second Saturday to glaze or paint their piece, adding color and personal details.

Finished projects will be fired one final time and carefully packed up, then sent home with students approximately one week after the second workshop. Each child will leave with a one-of-a-kind ceramic artwork and a memorable creative experience.

Wear clothes for getting a little  dirty and dusty! 

Fee includes a large portion of clay, paint/glaze, firing, room rental, clay goodie bag, insurance, business tax, expert instruction, mess making outside of your home and a teacher who adores her students! :)

Celebrate spring with a fun and creative after-school art workshop held in the Prairie Ridge Elementary art room! Students will explore spring-inspired themes to create a unique art project to take home.

This workshop is designed to encourage creativity, imagination, and hands-on exploration in a relaxed, supportive environment. Students will experiment with materials and techniques while expressing their own ideas and personal style.

Students will leave with a finished artwork that can be given as a Mother's Day gift or displayed at home.
